“Fantastic dentistry! I hate going to the dentist. The thought pains me, just as much if not worse than going to the DMV. My 3rd visit is tomorrow and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Anderson and his team have taken great care of me. The doctor himself is calm, cool, and collected which goes a long way to make me feel confident that my money, time, and self is making a good investment. I'm currently visiting for a root canal that was more inflamed than needed. Instead of just rushing through the procedure the DR spread out the treatment plan over several days to allow my body time to heal and be ready for the full procedure. No added fees for this. It's been smooth sailing and the final steps to come. Should something change I'll update this review but I doubt anything will go wrong. I hope everyone else has as good of an experience as I'm having.”

Dr. Anderson listened to the history and was able to successfully redo the root canal and treat the infection. My initial referral for a back molar that I desperately wanted to keep, Dr. Anderson's diagnosis was honest and in my best interest. The root canal I was hoping for to save said tooth did not have a solid enough outcome so he declined treatment. In the diagnostics with his state of the art equipment he did find a troubled root on a tooth that years earlier been damaged in an accident. Fast forward almost two years, and that tooth I wasn't even worried about started to give me grief, and he saved it. They acted like a single person with four hands. They were extremely attentive to my needs and did an excellent job. I did a mind exercise during the procedure thinking of all the things that I would like less than than a root canal. It made the time go faster and the aftermath was easy. “Dr. Abbott knows what he's doing. I had a horrible toothache in a tooth that had already had a root canal about 20 years prior. My regular dentist took X-rays and thought the tooth was probably cracked, even though no crack was visible. He said I'd probably need to get the tooth pulled, but he referred me to Dr. Abbott for a 2nd opinion. Dr. Abbott's opinion was it was more likely a faulty root canal that had become infected. He explained in detail. A week later, after a course of antibiotics, he dug in and fixed the problem, and the tooth is now functional and pain-free. Having a root canal repair was no picnic, but the anaesthetic worked well, I still have the tooth, and no more toothache!”

“When someone is addressed as doctor, they are being recognized for their scholastic achievement as well as a title of respect between patient and caregiver. For this review, I will not be addressing Craig as doctor, because I feel it is beneath me to address him with respect considering he was disrespectful to me. I went into a consultation for a root canal yesterday. While looking at some x-rays of the tooth in question, he observed and stated "You have two canals. That is very rare, probably one percent of the population has this." Now that sounds like a remarkable thing, so I asked Craig, "What does that mean?" to which he responded in a sarcastic and rude tone "You have two canals, one percent of the population has this...". I heard him the first time and I'm not entirely sure what that means. Believe it or not Craig, I'm not a dentist so why would I know what that meant. I'm sure you think is okay to talk to your staff, family, and patients like this, but it is completely unacceptable and very unprofessional. When you decided to call your practice Wine County Endodontics, did you also endorse the stereotype of the wine county pretentiousness that people in the bay area have come to know? Needless to say, I can not in good faith ever recommend Craig as care provider. I do not doubt his intellectual capacity as being a specialist, but considering his pompous attitude I would never recommend him.”

“I was referred to this office by my dentist after explaining my severe sensitivity to hot/cold temperatures on a specific tooth. After some X-rays and sensitivity tests, I got a root canal done on a SEPARATE tooth (not the sensitive one) so obviously, it didn't help. To make matters worse, the procedure caused a debilitating ear infection where I had to call out of work due to the pain (couldn't talk, eat/drink anything) and there was nothing that Dr. Anderson did to help. I had to go to my primary physician to get a stronger kind of antibiotics prescribed, as well as pain medication. After two weeks, I went back to Dr. Anderson for a follow up appointment and explained again that I can't eat or drink anything hot or cold because it hurts and all he said was that two other teeth might need root canals done but that he feels skeptical about doing multiple in the same area. He followed that up by saying that he's "not the Endodontist that I am looking for".. what?! Awful experience. The one star is for the rest of the staff that were extremely friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome but I will definitely not be returning for anything tooth related to Dr. Anderson.”

“Does not take out teeth but did not explained only after failed operation and -$800 out of pocket. Then teeth hurts worst then before, told to take advil and antibiotics lol... referrals to someone to can extract. Have to live with a hole in tooth with fake filling till extraction with another office. Horrible waste of time and money. Fully explain that if you can not do the root canal you can also not do the extraction... Instead of charging and doing the tooth, then explaining it... horrible. They just saw me as dollar signs because I paid in full, no insurance.”
